Our 20 Week Summer Share provides the large bounty of summer produce for you.

Our Summer CSA Started the 1st. 2nd, or 6th of June depending on your pick up location, and continues for 20 weeks.

You will find 6 to 10 items in your share plus culinary herbs. Over its 20 weeks, your share will include a wide variety of produce.  This includes: summer greens, peas, corn, carrots, green beans, butter beans, kale, collards, potatoes, garlic, summer squash, winter squash, lettuce, radishes, braising greens, cabbage, mustard greens, kohlrabi, fennel, hot peppers, tomatoes, and more. The vegetables in your share will vary week to week to reflect what is ripe that week.  There will pumpkins, sunchokes, Brussels Sprouts, root vegetables, and more later in the summer..

Enjoy fantastic fresh local, organic vegetables every day all year long! It's not all potatoes and beets. We grow fresh greens in our High Tunnel all winter long providing you with an assortment of seasonal vegetables each week. For variety with what we grow, we add apples and pears from a Central Washington grower, and occasionally produce from local farms. The year round provides 50 weeks a year, but if there are 52 weeks of produce you get to enjoy it all.

Market Style CSA Pick Up

Choose your own share

For the Spring CSA, we deliver bags to the off-farm pick up points to ensure that CSA members get their full share.  Items may be traded for things in the booth.

Our Market Style CSA pick up gives you flexibility of what you want in your share. Some people, for example, like lots of radishes and lettuce, while others want no radishes and lots of kale. It tends to work out well.

Each week there is a list with amounts for the Standard Share.   Double Shares get two Standard Shares.  Plus, you can substitute from the produce that is in the Farm Store that is not on the CSA list.

Most or all of the produce will be in our Cooler House or on our tables.  We will keep it stocked during the Farm Store hours. The CSA and the Farm Store are twoice a week and CSA Members should pick up their shares when the Farm Store open, but that is not required. If you pick up outside of the Farm Store hours, we will do our best to make sure you have a complete share.

The CSA is at the Farm Store. When the Poulsbo Farmers Market and the Bremerton Farmers Market are open you can designate to pick up your share there.

Our Market Style CSA is part of our commitment to being gentle on the Earth. While both plastic bags and paper bags will be available, we encourage you will bring your own bags so that the CSA is even more ecologically sustainable.

High Tunnel full of crops
Salad Mix
Rows of new turnip plants

Farm Fresh produce grown in your neighborhood is special and especially healthy.

A kitchen garden is like the garden our great-grand parents had outside of the kitchen door ready for mom to step out and pick the vegetables for the meal she was making. It contained all the goodies that make a memorable meal.

For you, our Market Garden is grown in a high-tunnel filled with delicious cold-hardy plants.  It’s hard to get anything fresher, and this is our goal.

What's Growing Now

This year our garden will be mostly in the high tunnel.  We are concentrating on greens this year, with garlic and potatoes when their season arrives.
